AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State gymnasts were active this past week with a team building activity and five Cyclones earning their letter jackets.
The Cyclones travelled to the 4-H Center in Madrid, Iowa, on Sept. 23. The staff at the 4-H Center tested all the gymnasts and coaching staff with a "challenge course" and a "high-ropes course." The team outing was designed to put the Cyclones in unique situations to help build team cohesion.
On Sept. 28, sophomores Hailey Johnson, Camille Santerre-Gervais, Henrietta Green, Michelle Shealy and Milan Ivory all received an Iowa State letterwinner jacket. The five gymnasts were awarded their jackets at a special ceremony inside the Jacobson Athletic Building.
The Cyclones continue their busy fall Saturday, as they will be signing autographs at the Cyclone Experience.
