Cyclone Notebook
- Iowa State looks to win its second in a row when it travels to face Kansas State Wednesday night at Bramlage Coliseum. The Cyclones won last year in Manhattan to snap a three-game road skid against the Wildcats.
- The Cyclones play five of their first eight Big 12 games on the road against teams with a .829 (39-8) home winning percentage.
- Iowa State snapped a five-game losing streak Sunday afternoon defeating then-No. 17 Texas Tech 66-49 at Hilton Coliseum.
- Iowa State received production from both the frontcourt and backcourt Sunday against the Lady Raiders. Hallie Christofferson posted her second-straight strong effort finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds, her third double-double of the season. Chelsea Poppens scored 10 points and grabbed 15 boards.
- The Cyclone backcourt was led by Lauren Mansfield's 12 points, all of which came in the second half. Nikki Moody finished with nine points, seven rebounds and seven assists and Chassidy Cole added eight points. The trio finished with a combined 24 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists.
- After scoring just 14 points total in the first four Big 12 games, Christofferson had an impressive week. The sophomore averaged 16 points, while shooting 52.6 percent from the field. She hit a career-best five threes on seven attempts against the Lady Raiders.
- Poppens is averaging a Big 12 best 4.9 offensive rebounds per game.
- Poppens has posted double-digit rebounds in 10 of the 16 games she has played in this season. The junior leads the Big 12 and is tied for fifth nationally averaging 11.4 rebounds per game.
- Brynn Williamson is tied for fourth in the Big 12 averaging 1.9 three-pointers made per game.
- Williamson's fellow freshmen Nikki Moody is leading Big 12 rookies in assists and ranks second among them in scoring. She is also fourth among freshmen in free-throw percentage and fifth in steals.
- Poppens' eight double doubles are second in the Big 12. Only Baylor's Brittney Griner has more with 10.
- Moody is shooting 80 percent (16-20) on free throws over the final five minutes of the game this season.
- Poppens is one of two Big 12 players averaging a double-double (Griner).
- Poppens needs 44 rebounds to move into seventh place all-time at Iowa State. Megan Ronhovde (2004-07) is currently seventh with 710 career boards.
- Iowa State has an all-time record of 601-520 (.536), including 364-167 (.686) under the direction of Fennelly.

- Poppens has made her last 10 free-throw attempts.
- Poppens has eight double-doubles in 16 games played this season. She has posted double-digit rebounds in 14-of-her-last-20 games dating back to last season.
- Brynn Williamson has made at least one 3-pointer in 15 of Iowa State's 17 games this season. She has hit multiple threes in 12 games.
- Iowa State has outrebounded 12-of-its-last-17 opponents this season. The Cyclones are 9-3 in those games.
