Cyclones Double Pairing Finishes Perfect

DES MOINES, Iowa- The Iowa State tennis team wrapped up its second of three fall tournaments Sunday at the Drake Jamboree.
The pairing of Samantha Budai and Liza Buss finished its doubles weekend perfect with a 6-3 win over Jana Kustkova and Veronika Golanova from Illinois State. The pairing finished 5-0 for the weekend.
The Cyclones went 5-2 in singles, finishing 14-7 for the weekend.
Anna Kuuttila's three-set (6-2, 3-6, 6-2) win over Kansas State's Maria Panaitie moves her to 7-1 in singles play this fall.
The team will be back in action next weekend in Daytona, Florida, at the Juan Varon Wildcat Invitational to wrap up fall play.
