After a long travel day, I have finally made it home! We lost our last three games of the tournament to USA, Belgium and China, which are three very good teams. We ended up finishing 8th in the World.
Though it wasn't the results we wanted, playing at the U19 World Championships was a very fun and worthwhile experience. Our entire team really enjoyed the trip. Being able to represent Canada will never get old for me. It is so fun to see all the different styles of play at the World Championship. Everyone has so much passion and excitement for their country, which makes these international tournaments so special. 
Seeing the different culture in Russia was extremely eye opening. Getting to be a tourist for one day was exciting. To me, visiting the Red Square was definitely a highlight of the trip. 
Now, I'm getting some rest, spending time with family and friends, packing and getting ready for move in day! I cannot wait to be a part of Cyclone Nation!!
