AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team (6-1, 0-0 Big 12) hits the road for the first time this season when it takes on the Iowa Hawkeyes (6-3, 0-0 Big Ten) in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series on Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. Iowa State is looking to sweep all in-state opponents for the ninth time under head coach Bill Fennelly. She needs just 20 points to pass Pat Hodgson for 16th in school history. Her 856 rebounds rank eighth in the nation among active career leaders.
- Jadda Buckley currently ranks 10th all-time in Iowa State history with 353 career assists. Her 353 career assists rank 36th nationally and third among juniors. Buckley's 7.4 assists per game, also ranks first in the Big 12 and eighth in the nation. Her 53 assists on the season rank 12th nationally as well.
- Iowa State ranks ninth in the nation in turnovers per game, averaging just 12.0 per contest. The Cyclones also rank fourth in the nation in assist-turnover ratio (1.51).
- Junior Emily Durr currently ranks fifth in the nation in 3-point field-goal percentage, shooting 58.6 percent from long range (17-of-29).
- The Cyclones rank first in the nation in free throw percentage (83.5%). ISU led the nation in 2012-13 and 2013-14 at the charity stripe. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 16 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is tied with Oklahoma as the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 453-224 record at Iowa State and a 619-277 record in his 28-year career as a head coach. His 619 career wins lists him in the top-20 in the NCAA among active coaches.
