AMES, Iowa-The Iowa State soccer team (5-2, 0-0 Big 12) will host the South Dakota Coyotes (1-5-1, 0-0 Summit) Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The game will be aired on Cyclones.tv. This will be the Cyclones' last non-conference game before Big 12 play begins.Â
Last Time Out
Iowa State is coming off a thrilling 1-0 overtime victory against Milwaukee on Sunday. Emily Steil put away her own rebound in the 107th minute for the golden goal. Steil's goal gave the Cyclones their fifth victory of the season. It was the first career goal for Steil, who led Iowa State with six shots and four shots on goal. Goalkeeper Lindsey Hendon tallied her fourth shutout of the season.Â
Scouting the Coyotes
The Cyclones will take on South Dakota Tuesday. The last time Iowa State faced the Coyotes was in 2015 when the Cyclones notched a 3-0 victory. South Dakota is currently on a six game winless streak and has only scored two goals during their skid.Â
