No. 23 ISU Closes Busy Road Swing at TCU

AMES, Iowa – No. 23 Iowa State plays its fourth road match in five on Saturday night at TCU. First serve between the Cyclones and the Horned Frogs at the University Recreation Center in Fort Worth will be at 7 p.m.
Tickets to the match are sold out. Saturday's match will be shown on Fox Sports Southwest Plus. Please check your local listings to see if your local Fox Sports Net or Fox College Sports affiliate will be showing the match live or tape delayed.

Iowa State will be looking to reach 20 wins in a season for the first time since 2012 with a victory on Saturday night. The Cyclones are coming off a sweep of Oklahoma on Wednesday. That ISU victory was led by an astonishing performance by Jess Schaben, who recorded 18 kills, nine of which came in the first set, seven digs and four blocks. Schaben heads into the match on Saturday sitting on 989 career kills, 11 shy of becoming the 10th Cyclone to reach 1,000 career kills.
TCU will be looking to close out its home slate with a victory. On Wednesday, the Horned Frogs fell to Texas Tech in straight sets in Fort Worth. The Frogs are one of the younger teams in the Big 12, featuring five freshmen currently in the rotations and another, Avery Rhodes' high school teammate Allye Beth Deaton, leading TCU in kills before a season-ending injury last month. The Cyclones have swept TCU each of their past two trips to Fort Worth.
