The Cyclones' five-match win streak came on an end on Saturday at Baylor in straight sets. ISU will look to get back on track against a West Virginia team that has not defeated Iowa State since the Mountaineers joined the conference in 2012. Hali Hillegas had 11 digs at Baylor on Saturday, her 40th-straight match in double figures. Jess Schaben is only 50 kills away from becoming the 10th member of Iowa State's 1,000 career kills club.
West Virginia is not an easy trip for anyone, with both Kansas and Texas having to play five sets to defeat WVU in Morgantown this season. The Cyclones had a close call at the WVU Coliseum last season, with the Mountaineers being ahead 14-11 in the fifth set before the Cyclones rallied to survive 18-16 and take the match. Last season's match in Morgantown saw Schaben record a career-high 26 kills and Hillegas make her first career start at libero.
