AMES, Iowa – Iowa State senior Sami Budai has been named Player of the Week by the Big 12 Conference after helping the Cyclones beat UNI over the weekend.
Budai was impressive against the Panthers, finishing 2-0. In singles, Budai defeated Jieke Stroobant in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0. Budai then went on to win in doubles 6-1 with the help of her partner, Maty Cancini.
