AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State volleyball team begins the 2017 regular season this weekend by hosting the Cyclone Invitational. The weekend tournament will see ISU open the season on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. against Kent State, followed by a Saturday double-dip against Omaha (Noon) and New Mexico (6:30 p.m.).
The full schedule for this weekend's matches is below:
Friday, Aug. 25
4 p.m. – Omaha vs. New Mexico
6:30 p.m. – Kent State vs. Iowa State
Saturday, Aug. 26
10 a.m. – New Mexico vs. Kent State
Noon – Omaha vs. Iowa State
4 p.m. – Kent State vs. Omaha
6:30 p.m. – New Mexico vs. Iowa State
Tickets for this weekend's matches can be purchased online, here, or on the day of the match, starting one hour before the first match of each session, at the Hilton Coliseum Ticket Office at the lower Southeast corner of Hilton Coliseum. People who purchased tickets through the Faculty & Staff discount, or the Elementary School discount can pick their tickets up at the Ticket Office Will Call.
Tickets are being sold for two-match sessions, the two Friday matches, the two early Saturday matches and the two later Saturday matches. Tickets are required to attend matches, including the matches not involving Iowa State.
All three of Iowa State matches will be shown live on Cyclones.TV Powered by Mediacom and the Cyclones.TV web player. There will be no live stream for the three matches not involving Iowa State. For more information about Cyclones.TV, click here.
