Green Named Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State senior Hilary Green has earned the Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week, the league office announced Monday. Green is the first Cyclone to win a weekly award this season, earning her first career Big 12 weekly award in the process. ISU won its first Big 12 Event Specialist of the Week honor since January 2015.
At the Oklahoma tri meet, Green had an impressive bars routine scoring a 9.900. This is the third time she scored a 9.900 in her career. Green closes the Cyclones' efforts on bars, and led them to their highest team score on bars this season of a 48.975.
Green and the No. 25 Cyclones will be back at Hilton Coliseum on Friday night as the take on Texas Woman's University at 6:30 p.m.
