Like much of the middle of the Big 12, Kansas enters the final week of the Big 12 season fighting for its chances to make the NCAA Volleyball Championship next week. The Jayhawks will be looking to break a three-match losing skid on Wednesday and maintain control of third place in the Big 12. Kansas enters the match with a 15-10 overall record, 8-6 in Big 12 play.
The Cyclones swept the Jayhawks in Lawrence back on Oct. 20 and a win on Wednesday night will give the Cyclones their first three-match winning streak over KU since 2010-11. In the match in Lawrence, ISU was led by 11 kills at .357 hitting from Jess Schaben, while Eleanor Holthaus had seven kills at .400 hitting. The Cyclone block produced 10.0 total blocks that day, led by six from Candelaria Herrera.
