AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State tennis team (7-3,0-0 Big 12) will travel to Florida for matches against North Florida and Mercer. The Cyclones will take on the North Florida Ospreys on March 2 at 2 p.m., followed by the Mercer Bears on March 3 at 9 a.m.
The Ospreys currently hold a record of 6-4, while the Bears are 4-3. ISU will look to improve its record against North Florida, as UNF leads 3-0 in the series record, with the last match up being in 2010. Iowa State's match against Mercer will be the first meeting in school history. The Cyclones went 2-1 last weekend in Nebraska, defeating Creighton, 4-0, and Nebraska-Omaha, 4-3, but falling 4-0 to No. 42 Nebraska in a competitive match.
