AMES, Iowa -- The No. 15 Iowa State wrestling team (6-1, 3-0 Big 12) will face Oklahoma at 7 p.m. on Friday night in Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones have a pair of duals this weekend and will be at No. 3 Oklahoma State (9-0, 5-0 Big 12) on Sunday afternoon.

Cyclone Notebook
-No. 15 Iowa State will be in action twice this weekend. They're set to take on Oklahoma on Friday night at 7 p.m. followed by a showdown with No. 3 Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Sunday at 2 p.m. The dual against the Sooners can be seen on Cyclones.TV and both duals can be streamed on FloWrestling.
-In the all-time series against Oklahoma, Iowa State holds the advantage at 50-42-3. Recently, OU has gotten the better of ISU with Iowa State looking for its first win against Oklahoma since 2015.
-Freshman David Carr will be competing at the prestigious Dave Schultz International this weekend at 70kg.
-Coming into the weekend, the Cardinal and Gold are riding a five match winning streak, outscoring their opponents 158-39 during that stretch.
-ISU entered the NWCA/USA Today National Coaches' Poll for the first time since Nov. 1, 2016 earlier this season. This week the Cyclones are ranked No. 15.
-Individually, Iowa State has seven wrestlers ranked across the board. Austin Gomez (9, 8, 8), Ian Parker (14, 18, 12), Jarrett Degen (12, 13, 7), Marcus Coleman (NR, NR, 22), Sam Colbray (19, 16, 14) and Willie Miklus (6, 6, 6) all stand in the national InterMat, FloWrestling and Trackwrestling rankings. Alex Mackall is ranked at No. 18 in the WIN Magazine poll, as well.
-Scoring points has been a point of emphasis for the Cyclones in 2018-19. In five dual matches this season, ISU is averaging 8.5 points per dual match.Â
-Iowa State has posted a 54-16 record in individual dual matches. Of those 54 wins, 26 have been by bonus-point variety.
-The scoring output has been a team effort for Kevin Dresser's squad. The Cyclones have five wrestlers who are averaging 10 or more points per dual match.
-Jarrett Degen leads the team in takedowns (34) and points scored per dual match (12.9). Austin Gomez leads the team in total back points in dual matches (28).
-ISU wrestlers are averaging 4.0 team points per dual victory this season.
-Ian Parker, Jarrett Degen, Marcus Coleman and Sam Colbray are all unbeaten in duals this season
