AMES, Iowa - Iowa State will look to extend its winning streak to four matches on Wednesday evening when the Cyclones head to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech. First serve between ISU and TTU will be at 6 p.m. inside United Supermarkets Arena.
Iowa State picked up its biggest win of the season last Friday with a 3-1 win over Oklahoma at Hilton Coliseum. Like against the Sooners, ISU will be looking to avenge a first-half of Big 12 play loss when they take on the Raiders tomorrow night.Â

Iowa State picked up its biggest win of the season to-date with a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma Friday night at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones were on-point in defense, recording 12.0 total blocks and holding OU to .059 hitting on the night. The attack was led by Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week Eleanor Holthaus, who recorded 19 kills at .310 hitting, 14 digs for her fourth double-double of the year and five blocks.
Texas Tech snapped a six-match losing streak last Saturday with its 3-2 win over West Virginia, improving to 15-12 overall, 5-8 in Big 12 play. The Red Raiders are in fifth in the league, three games behind Iowa State and Oklahoma. Despite conceading .304 hitting to WVU across the match, the Red Raiders stepped up when needed, holding WVU to .136 hitting in the final frame.
Senior Emily Hill led the effort with 22 kills, while Brooke Kanas had 15 and Caitlin Dugan 13. In the back row, Emerson Solano had 22 digs. Setter Alex Kirby just missed out on a double-double, finishing with 55 assists and nine digs.
Iowa State and Texas Tech will be meeting for the 51st time, with ISU leading the series 28-22. The Red Raiders won the meeting in Ames on Oct. 12 3-1, firing eight aces in the win at Hilton Coliseum. ISU was led in defeat by Eleanor Holthaus, who had 14 kills and five blocks in the match.
