AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team will depart for a two-week trip to South America on Saturday. The Cyclones will be heading to Argentina and Peru from June 1-14 for two weeks of volleyball and cultural immersion.
The Cyclones will play six matches during their time in South America, the schedule is below:
June 3 - vs. Argentina National Team (La Plata, Argentina)
June 4 - vs. Argentina National Team (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
June 5 - vs. Argentina World University Games Team (San Justo, Argentina)
June 6 - vs. University of San Juan (San Juan, Argentina)
June 8 - vs. Peru U18/U20 National Team (Lima, Peru)
June 9 - vs. Peru U18/U20 National Team (Lima, Peru)
Along with the matches, Iowa State will be taking part in multiple volleyball clinics and community outreach programs throughout the trip. The conclusion of the trip will see the Cyclones get to visit the world famous Machu Picchu on June 12.
