FORT WORTH, Texas – The Iowa State men's golf team finished 10th at the Colonial Collegiate Invitational with a 54-hole tally of 894.
Freshman Brock Barnhart led the Cyclones at 218, tying for 23rd in the medalist. His first-round 68 was the low score of the tournament by a Cyclone.
Tripp Kinney finished in a tie for 28th after carding rounds of 75-74-71 (220). Kinney had three birdies on his final-round 71.
The Cyclones will be back in action next week at the Big 12 Match Play, Oct. 2-4 in Houston, Texas.
