HOUSTON – The Iowa State men's golf team completed competition at the Big 12 Match Play Championship today at The Club at Houston Oaks.
Iowa State went 1-4 in the tournament, capturing its win against West Virginia Saturday morning, 4-2. The Cyclones were close to defeating Baylor, falling 3-2-1 to the Bears.
Lachlan Barker and Tripp Kinney led the Cyclones over the weekend, compiling identical 2-2-1 records. Brock Barnhart and Frank Lindwall each won a pair of matches.
The Cyclones will travel to Dallas, Texas for the Maridoe Collegiate Invitational on Oct. 18.
