Owen Sawyer Finishes Top-10 at the Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. - Owen Sawyer finishes the Colleton River Collegiate in a tie for 10th (-2), his third top-10 finish of the season and sixth of his career. Sawyer shot the third-lowest score on Par 3's (-7) in the tournament to go along with a team-high 12 birdies. The Cyclones wrap up the Colleton River Collegiate in a tie for 12th place (+10), shooting four-over par today to tie with Kansas State.
Paul Beauvy finished right behind Sawyer, shooting one-under for the tournament (T-15th). Beauvy carded nine birdies throughout his three rounds. Jackson McCommon tied for 61st (+7), tallying 10 birdies and his sixth career eagle in the second round.
Dianchao Wu jumped seven spots to tie for 69th and totaled seven birdies. Zach May shot a 71 today to rise 15 spots and tie for 72nd (+11). May shot even-par on Par 3's, good for sixth-best in the field, and fired seven birdies in the final round, with his final birdie of the day being his 300th of his career. Playing as an individual, Jesse Trembath finished in a tie for 84th and carded six birdies.
#50 Kentucky (-11) retained its lead from yesterday to narrowly defeat Ohio State by one stroke to win the Colleton River Collegiate. Memphis' Diego Do Patrocinio Lourenco shot four-under today to earn medalist honors at -10.
Iowa State is back at it again on March 23rd in Litchfield Park, Arizona for the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate, where both Zach May and the Cyclones won in 2025.
