AMES, Iowa -Â Zach May and the Cyclones look to repeat from last year's tournament win at the Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate. The tournament will start at 10 a.m. CT on Monday, March 23rd and conclude on Tuesday, March 24th.

COURSE INFORMATION
For over 50 years, the Gold Course has been recognized as one of Arizona's most challenging and respected golf courses. Nicknamed "Arizona's Monster", the Gold Course has hosted many signature tournaments over the years, including numerous U.S. Open Qualifiers, U.S. Amateur Qualifiers, several NCAA Regional Championships, and the annual Patriot All-America Invitational--one of the top competitions in the world. Named one of the "Top 100 Golf Courses in America", this 7,345-yard, par-72 course has received various industry awards and accolades since opening in 1965.
KEY STORYLINES
- Iowa State tied for 12th (+10) with Kansas State at the Colleton River Collegiate three weeks ago.
- Owen Sawyer tied for 10th (-2), his third top-10 finish of the season and sixth of his career.
- Paul Beauvy recorded his 20th top-20 finish of his career by placing in a tie for 15th (-1).
- With his final birdie of the tournament, Zach May recorded his 300th birdie of his career.
- Both May and the Cyclones won the 2025 Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate. May shot a then lowest career round (66) in the final round and his current lowest 54-hole score (206, -10) of his career to secure his first tournament victory.
- Iowa State trailed #49 Marquette by 16 strokes entering the final round of play, but the Cyclones shot a then second-lowest round in school history (268, -20) to complete the comeback and win by two strokes.
- Beauvy remains on top of the career stroke average list at 71.55. Sawyer moves into a tie for sixth with Denzel Ieremia at a 72.57 scoring average.
