AMES, Iowa – The Cyclone tennis team returns to the courts this weekend when they play host to Colorado and North Dakota Saturday at Life Time Fitness in Urbandale.
Iowa State is 2-0 this season, while Colorado is 1-0 and North Dakota is 0-1.
THE SCHEDULE
Saturday, Jan. 30
Iowa State vs. Colorado, 11:30 a.m.
Iowa State vs. North Dakota, 4:30 p.m.

THE SERIES
Iowa State is just 4-27 all-time against former Big 12 foe Colorado. The Cyclones won the final two meetings in the series in 2010 and 2011 before the Buffaloes left for the Pac-12.
The Cyclones own a perfect 4-0 record against North Dakota in a series that originated in 1986.
DOUBLES SUCCESS
Iowa State went 6-0 in doubles action last weekend to earn the valued point in both matches.
In the top slot, Thasaporn Naklo and Miska Kadleckova were dominant with a pair of 6-2 victories in their first weekend playing together.
KEZUKA IN DUAL MATCHES
Chie Kezuka is 12-3 in her career in dual singles action after a 2-0 start last weekend. She owns a .786 winning percentage at No. 5 singles in her career and is just four wins shy of the top five in school history in the No. 5 slot.
GREAT DEBUT
Sofia Cabezas and Kadleckova had a great first weekend as Cyclones. The pair went a combined 4-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles action.
They dropped just nine of 57 games played in singles action.
