Iowa State Announces 2022 Gymnastics Schedule

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State has announced the Cyclones' 2022 gymnastics schedule. The regular season schedule features 10 competition dates, with four taking place in Hilton Coliseum.
The Cyclones will once again begin their season in Hilton, challenging Nebraska for the first time since 2018 on Friday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Iowa State will then be on the road for two weeks, taking on Temple at Chow's Winter Classic Cup on Saturday, Jan. 15 and Auburn on Friday, Jan. 21. The team will wrap up January with a return to Hilton to take on Big 12 foe West Virginia on the 28th.
February will be kicked off with three weeks of travel for the Cyclones. To start off the trip, the Cyclones will once again make the trip to Denver on Sunday, Feb. 13. The Cyclones will then travel to St. Charles, Missouri Feb. 18 for a quad with Lindenwood, SEMO and Illinois State. Iowa State will make their final road trip of the month when it travels to Northern Illinois on Sunday, Feb. 20 for a quad meet that includes both Central and Western Michigan. To close out the month, ISU returns to Hilton Coliseum to welcome Lindenwood on Friday, Feb. 25.
March opens with an important match up for the Cyclones, welcoming Iowa for the Cy-Hawk series on Friday, March 1. The last regular season meet is on the road, with Iowa State traveling to Missouri for another quad meet which includes Illinois and Lindenwood. The 2022 Big 12 Championships, hosted by Denver, will take place on Saturday, March 19.
The 2022 NCAA Gymnastics Championships begin with the regional rounds taking place March 31 through April 2. The 2022 NCAA Gymnastics Championships final rounds will be held in Fort Worth at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Apr. 15-16.
All competitions are subject to change. More information regarding home meets will be announced closer to the season.
