No. 22 Iowa State Ready for Postseason Push

AMES, Iowa – The No. 22 Iowa State gymnastics team (9-3, 3-2 Big 12) is ready to start their postseason push at the Big 12 Championships in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The Cyclones are coming off of their highest score of head coach Jay Ronayne's tenure at ISU, posting a 196.825 in Sunday's loss to No. 1 Oklahoma.
Junior Addy De Jesus is hoping to cap off her record-breaking season with a Big 12 title. De Jesus ended her regular season by tying the school record in all-around, earning the fifth 39.600 in ISU history. She also became the fourth gymnast in ISU history to score a 9.900 or higher on all four events in a single season, including a perfect score on the vault. On Wednesday, it was announced that De Jesus had been named to the All-Big 12 team.
The Big 12 Championships will begin at 1:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, West Virginia. Cyclone fans can cheer on the team from home as the meet will be broadcast on ESPN2.
