- ISU is looking to bounce back from a 194.075 at the Chow's Winter Classic last weekend.
- Head coach Jay Ronayne once again makes the return trip to Auburn where he served four seasons (2003-06) as the top assistant for the Tigers.
- Maddie Diab has posted back-to-back 9.900s on floor to open the year and ranks in the top 20 nationally on the event this season. Laura Cooke also has a career-high 9.900 on floor this year which came in the opener against Nebraska.
- Josie Bergstrom and Loganne Basuel both earned career highs last week against Temple, with Bergstrom's coming on vault (9.825) and Basuel's on beam (9.825).
- Freshman Hannah Loyim made her All-Around debut last weekend against Temple, earning or tying a career high on every event. Loyim topped her scores from the previous meet on vault and beam, while tying her bars score and making her floor debut.
- This will mark the 15th meeting between Iowa State and Auburn with ISU leading the all-time series, 10-4. It's the schools' first meeting since 2018 and ISU's first trip to Auburn since 2009.
- There are two Olympians on the roster this season in Ariana Orrego (Peru) and Marina Gonzalez (Spain). Orrego competed at both the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics while Gonzalez competed in Tokyo, finishing 32nd on floor and 12th in the team standings.Â
