Cyclones Finish 7th At Arizona Intercollegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Iowa State men's golf team tied for seventh at the Arizona Intercollegiate to begin its spring season in Tucson, Ariz.
The Cyclones carded rounds of 285-287-287 for an 859 total. Arizona won the team title at 829.
Josh Hetherington was the pacesetter for the Cyclones, tying for 14th at 5-under (211). After a first-round 72, Hetherington went 5-under over his final 36 holes for his top finish as a Cyclone.
Hetherington had five birdies in each of his last two round.
Luke Gutschewski and Lachlan Barker tied for 34th at 216. Gutschewski capped off the tournament with a final-round 70.
The Cyclones are back in action, Feb. 21-23 at the Prestige at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.
