Terukina Earns At-Large Bid as Nine Cyclones Head to Detroit

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Iowa State sophomore Kysen Terukina has earned one of five at-large bids to the NCAA Championships in Detroit next week.
Terukina will compete at 125 pounds, as he becomes the ninth Cyclone to punch his ticket to Detroit. This will be the third time in the Kevin Dresser era that the Cyclones have sent nine wrestlers to the NCAA Championships.
Ramazan Attasauov (133), Ian Parker (141), Jarrett Degen (149), David Carr (157), Joel Devine (174), Marcus Coleman (184), Yonger Bastida (197) and Sam Schuyler (285) earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championships over the weekend at the Big 12 Championship.
Seeds and brackets for the 2022 NCAA Championships come out Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
