Cyclones Named ITA All-Academic Team

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State tennis team has been named an ITA Division I All-Academic team for the 2021-22 academic year.
To earn the recognition, teams must post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2.
Individually, Sofia Cabezas, Miska Kadleckova and Chie Kezuka were named ITA Scholar-Athletes. Kezuka earns the honor for the third time in her career, while Cabezas and Kadleckova are two-time honorees.
Student-athletes must post a 3.5 GPA during the academic year to be recognized.
The Cyclones are coming off another successful season on the courts, finishing 16-7 overall and reaching the NCAA Tournament for the second-straight season.
