AMES, Iowa – The Cyclones took first place in their Tri-Meet Home Opener Friday night. Iowa State posted a 194.075, UC Davis and Eastern Michigan recorded scores of 193.675 and 193.575 respectively.
Iowa State was led by Alondra Maldonado on floor, who scored a career-high 9.900.Â
Vault
Iowa State scored a meet high 49.025 on vault. The Cyclones were led by Emilie Hong, who posted a 9.850. Teammates Kelsey Boychuk and Kaia Parker both notched scores of 9.825. Boychuk's 9.825 is a season-high. Ana Irene Palacios tied her career-high on vault with 9.775.
Bars
