SOUNDING LIKE A BROKEN RECORD
Most things written about Ashley Joens involves breaking records and the Cyclone senior was at it again on Wednesday against West Virginia. Joens took down a pair of school records in the win over the Mountaineers. She is now ISU's all-time leaders for 3-pointers made at 288, surpassing the previous record jointly held by Heather Ezell and Megan Taylor at 287. Her 19 point/11 rebound outing gave her the 55th double-double of her career, overtaking Angie Welle's previous record of 54 career double-doubles.

Stephanie Soares

20/20 VISION
Stephanie Soares continued her outstanding start to her one-year term as an Iowa State Cyclone, recording 13 points, a career-high 20 rebounds and three blocks in the win over West Virginia. Soares has eight double-doubles on the season, while her 20 rebounds marked the sixth 20-rebound game in program history. In addition, she joins Angie Welle as the only players to have 20 rebounds and at least three blocks in the same game, Welle doing so against Missouri in January 2001.
