HOCKLEY, Texas - The Cyclones concluded the final day of Big 12 Match Play with a tie against eighth-seeded Kansas State today with a score of 2-2-1.Â
Paul Beauvy defeated Alex Lindstrom with a score of 1UP. Beauvy won two of the last four holes in order to win the match.Â
Zach May defeated JP Roller after winning four holes in a row in their match. May defeated Roller with a score of 5&4.
Owen Sawyer tied Luke O'Neill after going back and forth through the whole match.Â
Luke Gutschewski and Dianchao Wu also competed in the final day of Big 12 Match Play.Â
The Cyclones had a combine team score of 10-13-2 through all rounds of the tournament. Iowa State was led by Owen Sawyer with a team-best 3-1-1 record.Â
This wraps up the fall season for the Cyclones. The team will continue their season on Monday, Jan. 29 at the N.I.T. in Tucson, Arizona.Â
