Chul-Ak-Sorn Named Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week

AMES, Iowa - Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn has been named the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
In a loaded field where 13 of the 19 teams were ranked in the top 30, Chul-Ak-Sorn notched a T-14 finish in the individual standings. The Chonburi, Thailand native carded rounds of 70-73-70 for a 213 total.
Chul-Ak-Sorn finished the tournament strong with four birdies in the final round.
The sophomore's 70.67 season average ranks second in program history only behind her own mark from last year. Chul-Ak-Sorn has a career 70.59 average, tops in school history.
This tournament concluded the fall season for the Cyclones. Iowa State will pick up again Feb. 4 at the UCF Challenge.
