AMES, Iowa – Iowa State (19-9, 10-7 Big 12) closes regular season hosting the Cincinnati Bearcats Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. and will honor its three seniors. ISU and UC will meet for the first time since 2012 and for the fifth time overall in the all-time series.

The 2023 Cyclones

Iowa State sealed the 11th sweep of the season in the 3-0 win over UCF Wednesday, totaling 44 kills compared to UCF's 28. With the win, Christy Johnson-Lynch now holds the fourth-most wins in Big 12 history with 202 on her career.

Maya Duckworth led with 14 kills at 4.67 per set, while adding nine digs and three blocks. It was the sophomore's 35th double-figure kill performance of her career.

Jordan Hopp nears the milestone of 100 blocks on the season, entering the Cincinnati matchup with 97 total (18 solo, 79 assists).

Cincinnati (12-15, 5-12 Big 12)

In the all-time series, Iowa State leads 3-1 while the teams have met only at neutral sites. The Cyclones lone loss came in 1990 and the most recent meetings in 2011 and 2012 resulted in a four- and three-set Cyclone victory.

Abby Walker leads the Bearcats this season with 241 kills at an efficiency of .291. Defensively, libero Carly Skrabak totals 400 digs at 4.00 per set and Ligia Williams leads blockers with 95 total blocks.
