Brandt Named Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week

AMES, Iowa – Morgan Brandt has been named the Cyclone Club Athlete of the Week after helping Iowa State volleyball to a pair of wins at TCU over the weekend.

Brandt led the Big 12 this week with 12.00 assists per set, totaling 96 helpers across the two matches.

In a five-set win Friday, Brandt tallied a career-high 59 assists to go with 10 digs for her 10th double-double of the season. Her 59 assists were the most by a Cyclone since 2018.

Sunday against the Horned Frogs, the sophomore setter logged a 37-assist outing in three sets.

The Sumner, Iowa native added six blocks, five kills and an ace to her weekend stat line.

Iowa State returns home to host No. 14 Kansas for a series taking place Friday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 11 at 4 p.m.
