Iowa State Announces Winter Elite Camp

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State softball program is set to host a pair of Winter Elite Softball Camps in January at the Bergstrom Indoor Facility.
The first January camp spans two days, will take place on Sunday, Jan. 14, and Monday, Jan. 15, is meant for players in grades 8-12 and will cost $285 per participant. Pitching/hitting/catching/defense-only camp options are also available.
The second Winter Elite Camp is a one-day event and will be held on Sunday, Jan. 21. This camp is also meant for athletes between eighth and 12th grade and will cost $250 per participant. Pitching/hitting/catching/defense-only camp options are also available.
The camps are designed to give high-level instruction in several different environments. Campers will have the opportunity to work with Cyclone coaches, including head coach Jamie Pinkerton, in a practice setting, game setting and a mental/visual training environment. The camp is set up to allow you to showcase your skills in each of these environments while improving your game. Each day, campers will receive skill instruction and game play. No food will be provided, but there will be a break for lunch.
Campers will need to bring their own glove, shoes, bat/batting gloves, helmet, water bottle and lunch for the camp.
