Diab Earns All-Big 12 Honor on Floor

AMES, Iowa – Maddie Diab was named to the All-Big 12 Gymnastics Team, the league office announced Wednesday. The senior received honors for her performances on floor during the 2023 campaign.

The floor specialist is ranked 20th in the country and third in the Big 12 on floor, with an NQS of 9.930. Diab earned scores 9.950 twice this season, marking the highest score of any Iowa State gymnast. She logged scores of 9.900 or higher in six straight meets this season, the longest such streak of her Cyclone career. Diab also had seven event wins on floor during 2023.

Iowa State returns to Morgantown, West Virginia Saturday for the Big 12 Championships to round out the regular season. Competition will begin at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
