Iowa State Adds Midweek Doubleheader against SEMO

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State softball team has scheduled a home doubleheader with the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks on April 18 to make up for previously canceled competitions. First pitch of game one is scheduled for noon with first pitch of game two coming a half hour after game one's completion.

The Cyclones (13-23, 1-8 Big 12) have had five games canceled or postponed due to weather this season. The addition of SEMO will mean that the Cyclones will have four doubleheaders in the span of 12 days.

Iowa State will be back in action this weekend as it travels to Stillwater, Okla. to face off with the third-ranked Oklahoma State Cowgirls in a three-game series.
