AMES, Iowa – Iowa State finished its 17th season under Jay Ronayne ranked No. 44 in the country, with a record of 8-10.

- Iowa State posted 16 scores of 9.900 or higher in 2023: 13 such scores came on floor, and the remaining on beam.
- 15 different Cyclones logged career-highs this season. Five athletes performed in new events this season, including Josie Bergstrom on floor and Laura Cooke, Maddie Diab and Natalie Horowitz on vault.
- Iowa State scored their season-high 196.300 at home against Denver on Senior Night.
- Diab dominated on floor during the 2023 season; the floor specialist put up an NQS of 9.935, which ranked 18th in the nation and third in the Big 12. For her performance on floor, Diab earned a spot on the 2023 All-Big 12 Gymnastics Floor Team for the second time.
- Kaia Parker, Bergstrom and Emilie Hong were leaders on vault for Iowa State this season, with NQS' of 9.850, 9.830 and 9.825 respectively.
- Iowa State had its season-high on vault this season against Denver, posting a 49.225. Bergstrom and Kelsey Boychuk each posted a 9.875 to lead the Cyclones.
- The Cyclones scored a season-high 49.125 on bars at Oklahoma. They were led by Cooke, who posted a team-high 9.875. Cooke finished the season with a 9.825 NQS, which led the team.
- Iowa State had three gymnasts score 9.900 in 2023. Loganne Basuel posted her career-high 9.900 on beam at West Virginia early in the season, and Lauren Thomas and Alondra Maldonado both scored 9.900 at UCLA, where the Cyclones had their season-high 49.300 team score.
- Sophomores Bergstrom and Hannah Loyim each finished the season with NQS' of 9.830.
- Diab was the leader on floor for the Cyclones. The senior posted scores of 9.900 or higher on floor 10 times in 2023, and six of those scores came in consecutive meets. Diab scored a 9.950 at the Big 12 Championship, which earned her a share of the Big 12 Floor Title for the second straight year. The floor specialist didn't score lower than 9.850 all season.
- Alondra Maldonado scored a 9.900 on floor in the Cyclones' first home meet against UC Davis and Eastern Michigan, earning her both the Mari-Rae Sopper award for that meet and a career-high.
- Hannah Loyim logged two 9.900's late in the season, first at home against Denver and again at the Big 12 Championship.
- Iowa State scored its season-high on floor at West Virginia with a 49.350.
