ISU Meets Mizzou in Exhibition

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State heads to Columbia, Mo. to face Mizzou in exhibition for the final tune-up leading into regular season Saturday, Aug. 19. Action begins at 1 p.m. inside the Hearnes Center.

There will be no live video or stats at the exhibition. ISU and Mizzou also met last season in exhibition where Iowa State came away with the win.

Missouri is led by Head Coach Dawn Sullivan who enters her first year leading the team. From 2005-18, Sullivan spent 13 seasons as an assistant and associate head coach at Iowa State. Sullivan joined Christy Johnson-Lynch in her first year at the helm for Iowa State, helping guide ISU to 12-straight NCAA Tournament trips.

Next week, Iowa State hosts the regular season-opening Cardinal and Gold Challenge. The Cyclones meet South Dakota Friday, Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m. and DePaul Sunday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. Gold "Hilton Is My Happy Place" shirts will be given to the first 250 students on Friday while the annual season ticket holder meet and greet will be held post-match on Sunday.
