Cyclones Charge into Home Meet
Both men's coach Jeremy Sudbury and women's coach Amy Rudolph have noted their excitement to see the squads compete at their first race of the season. Iowa State fans can look forward to watching many new faces compete for the men, as well as experienced Cyclones Kelvin Bungei and Silas Winders. A season ago, Bungei narrowly missed out on All-Midwest Region honors, taking 26th in 30:09.4 while Winders also ran in all five meets for Iowa State and finished 57th at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 30:39.4). On the women's side, Rudolph will look to three fifth-year seniors in Dana Feyen, Madelynn Hill and Janette Schraft, as well as senior Brenna Cohoon to lead an eager group on Friday. Feyen and Hill bring 2022 NCAA Championship experience into the season while Schraft enters the fall after a record-setting spring on the track.
