AMES, Iowa -Â No. 4 Iowa State heads south to Oklahoma for its final road trip of the regular season. The Cyclones will face off with No. 18 Oklahoma Friday before what is sure to be a spirited top-five tilt against undefeated No. 5 Oklahoma State on Saturday. Iowa State is looking to win three consecutive duals against the Cowboys for the first time since 1980-82.

- The Cyclone wrestlers were off last weekend and enter the road trip coming off a tough training cycle. Their last time on the mat was Jan. 12 against Utah Valley, which ISU won, 44-3.Â
- ISU is looking for its sixth consecutive win against Oklahoma and third straight in Norman. The Cyclones' last loss to the Sooners came on the road in 2018.
- After a 14-match losing streak to Oklahoma State from 2011-2021, Iowa State has won the last two duals in the series.Â
- All 10 bouts in Saturday's matchup between ISU and OSU project to feature two ranked wrestlers, including five top-10 tilts.
- Casey Swiderski is back in ISU's probable lineup at 149 pounds after a minor knee surgery has kept him out since early December. His last time on the mat was Dec. 2 at the Cliff Keen Invitational, where he placed fifth.
- Anthony Echemendia has taken his performance to another level in recent weeks. The Cuban has won seven matches in a row, all with bonus points (5 MD, 2 TF).
- Yonger Bastida has had a dominant start to the season. The Cuban is 15-0 with nine bonus-point wins, six top-20 victories and owns a 60:1 takedown ratio. Bastida's last match was a 4-3 victory over Arizona State's No. 5 Cohlton Schultz.
- David Carr has two ranked matchups on the docket this weekend, including a bout against OSU's No. 4 Izzak Olejnik. The Cowboy has a win over Cornell's Julian Ramirez this season, which is Carr's only loss on the year.
- Iowa State wrestlers have pushed the pace and been aggressive on their feet this season. The Cyclones own a 366-98 takedown advantage over their opponents this season.
