Cyclones Finish 11th at the Windy City Classic

WILMETTE, Ill.- The Cyclones wrapped up the Windy City Classic, finishing in 11th and shooting 42-over. This finish marks five top-15 finishes at the Windy City Classic for the Cyclones.

Keeley Marx took the Cyclone's top spot after 54 holes, placing in a tie for 22nd after shooting three straight three-over rounds. Freshman Nichakorn Pinprayoon found herself in second for the Cyclones, just one stroke behind Marx, which put her in a tie for 29th, shooting a final round of three-over.

Pammy Chookaew placed tied for 35th, shooting 11-over after 54 holes. Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn grabbed four birdies in her final round to shoot 12-over after 54 holes, placing her in a tie for 40th. Ended the Cyclones off was Alexandra Vidal shooting 25-over, putting her in a tie for 71st.

Winning the tournament was No. 12 Arizona State, who shot 11-over after 54 holes.

The Cyclones' next tournament will be at the Stanford Intercollegiate in Palo Alto, Calif., on Oct. 18-20.
