Cyclones Finish Seventh at the Stanford Intercollegiate

PALO ALTO, Calif. The Iowa State Cyclones finished up the Stanford Intercollegiate in seventh. The Cyclones shot a tournament-low round of 287 to put their total at 870. The Cyclones again were led by freshman Nichakorn Pinprayoon. Prinprayoon shot a bogey-free five-under round with three birdies and an eagle to show for it. Prinprayoon finished in a tie for 10th.
Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn finished in the Cyclone's second-place spot, shooting a 74 in her final round, putting her in a tie for 34th and her three-round total of four-over. Pammy Chookaew was close behind, finishing in a tie for 36th and shooting a 73 in her final round to put her tournament total to five-over. Chookaew also totaled five birdies in her final round.Â
Kelley Marx finished her tournament off, shooting a 78 in her final round, putting her total score at 17-over and in a tie for 78th. Alexandra finished off the Cyclones in a tie for 88th after shooting her tournament low of 74, putting her total to 20-over.Â
Southern California and Stanford both tied for first at 18-under in the tournament.Â
