Cyclones Head to Prestige at PGA West

AMES, Iowa - Following a three-week break after the N.I.T., the Cyclones head to La Quinta, Calif. for the Prestige at PGA West. This tournament will be three-days with 18 holes a day beginning on Monday, Feb. 19 and concluding Wednesday, Feb. 21. Lukas Pany will be participating as an individual in the Prestige Individual Tournament which will be played at The Golf Club at Terra Lago North Course.

The Course: This 7,200-year course is resting in a prehistoric ocean bed 40-feet below sea level and is surrounded by terra cotta mountains. Located in Cochella Valley the Norman Course is described as "challenging but fair". The Norman Course offer a "Outback" experience that keeps golfers wanting to come back.

- On the Cyclones' all-time career stroke average list, Gutschewski sits in first with a 71.57 scoring average.
- Gutschewski broke the school record for lowest three-round score (198) and joins Nick Voke as one of the two Cyclones to score under 200 in three rounds.
- Zach May carded a three-round low of 209 at the Zach Johnson Invitational.
- Owen Sawyer carded a low 18 round (66) and a three-round low (208) at the N.I.T. in Tucson, Arizona.
