BOISE, Idaho – No. 19 Iowa State (2-3, 1-0 Big 12) fell to No. 35 Boise State (6-2, 2-0 MWC) by a score of 195.550-196.525 on Friday evening.
"This was a tough one on the road. Not the result that we wanted. But this is a young team, and they have an opportunity to learn from this and use this as fuel." Head Coach Ashley Miles Greig said.
Iowa State lost Friday evening against the Broncos but had very good outings from many different gymnasts. Noelle Adams led the way for the Cyclones as they saw her score two more 9.9's. That now marks eight on the season. Her first came from her floor routine and then she followed that right up on the beam.
The Cyclones had a great showing by junior Josie Bergstrom. She started the night out with a strong vault performance of 9.925 to take home the win on that event. This was a new career high for Bergstrom as well as marked a new season high score on vault. Later on the beam she ended her night with a very impressive 9.875.

Iowa State had a good showing on vault tonight. Josie Bergstrom led the way with a new career high of 9.925. She continues to stay strong on the vault. Noelle Adams 9.875 was yet another great showing from the freshman.

The Cyclones were led tonight by Junior Hannah Loyim who began her night with a 9.875 to anchor ISU on bars. Loyim's score helped her secure both the all-around win as well as the win on bars. Paige Wills also had a solid routine this evening. The freshman scored a 9.825.

ISU ended the night on beam. Noelle Adams picked up her second 9.9 of the night and eighth in the young season. Josie ended her night with another great beam routine. She was able to score a 9.875. Hannah Loyim ended her all around performance with a 9.85 on beam. This capped off her all around score of 39.250.
