Big 12 Volleyball Schedule Announced

AMES, Iowa – The Big 12 Conference has announced the 2024 volleyball league schedule featuring 18 matches including nine at home.

All matches will be single matches with no series. Iowa State will play each Big 12 school at least once either home or away in addition to playing Texas Tech, Kansas State, Houston and Kansas both home and away.

Iowa State opens the conference slate with two home matches, first with West Virginia Saturday, Sept. 28 before hosting Cincinnati Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The Cyclones then have a three match road stint. On Saturday, Oct. 5 ISU will play K-State before heading to Houston for a match on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Iowa State next takes on UCF on Friday, Oct. 11.

Next up, BYU will come to Ames Wednesday, Oct. 16 before Texas Tech visits Hilton Friday, Oct. 18.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23 Iowa State will play at Kansas and will then host Kansas State Saturday, Oct. 26. ISU next will travel to Baylor Wednesday, Oct. 30 and then to TCU Friday, Nov. 1.

Continuing November action, ISU hosts Houston on the sixth and will meet Colorado for the first time since 2013 on the 13th. The Cyclones then have another road stint, taking on Texas Tech (Nov. 16), Arizona State (Nov. 21) and Arizona (Nov. 23). Iowa State last met Arizona for the first time last season at the GCU Tournament, and will see Arizona State for the third meeting and first since 2011.

The final two conference matches will be at home, as Utah comes to town on Nov. 27 and Kansas on Nov. 29. Iowa State and Big 12 newcomer Utah will meet for the fifth time in program history.
