The 2025 Cyclones
Iowa State swept Arizona at home last week, and took a set at No. 24 Colorado. Rachel Van Gorp led the Big 12 in digs for the third-straight week with 5.43 per set. The libero had 19 in just three sets vs. Arizona and another 19 at Colorado to lead that match also.

The Opponents
Iowa State and Baylor will meet for the 60th time in series history, while BU has won the previous two meetings. Baylor last visited Ames in 2023 for a series where ISU won the first match and the No. 18-ranked Bears took the second. In 2025 conference play, Baylor took the win in five vs. No. 9 TCU and took No. 18 Kansas to five.
Arizona State will play in Ames for just the second time, and first since 2011 where Iowa State won in four. This season, ASU is the only undefeated team in Big 12 play at 8-0. ASU has five ranked wins in 2025 over then-No. 2 Penn State, at No. 18 Kansas, vs. No. 16 Baylor, vs. No. 24 Baylor and at No. 19 BYU. Arizona State hosts No.13 TCU before coming to Ames this week.
