The Cyclones wrapped up competition in Austin and Minneapolis on Saturday, closing out the weekend with strong performances at both sites. In Austin, Anja Peck and Grace Swoboda led the way in the 200 breaststroke, with Peck advancing to the finals and Swoboda earning a reserve finals spot. Meanwhile in Minneapolis, Kate Mitchell continued her standout season with a fifth-place finish in platform diving, joined by four additional Cyclones who placed inside the top 10.
How It Happened
In Austin's morning session, Peck clocked a 2:35.10 in the 200 breaststroke to place 15th in prelims and earn a spot in the B-final. Swoboda followed closely behind with a 2:36.23, finishing 18th and securing a reserve position for finals.
At the Minnesota Invitational, Iowa State's divers had an impressive day on platform. Mitchell led the group with a fifth-place score of 219.65. She was joined by strong finishes from Jade Hazes in seventh (205.05), Maggie Bendell in ninth (202.35), Ally Blumenfeld in 10th (202.20), Abby Tollefson in 12th (196.05), Grace Marek in 16th (186.10), Iona Moffat in 17th (162.05), and Annie McCann in 18th (154.30).

Iowa State returns to action after the new year with a road matchup against UNI in Cedar Falls on January 10.
