Leading Off: The Cyclones are back in Hilton again this week for the last home meet of the 2025 season. They face the Denver Pioneers and the NC State Wolfpack on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Â
Iowa State had a number of gymnasts standout last weekend against BYU. Haylee Hardin earned at 9.875 on floor, and Frederique Sgarbossa earned a 9.875 on bars. Te Cyclones are currently ranked 27th on vault.Â
The Denver Pioneers are currently ranked 19th and NC State is currently ranked 18th on Road to Nationals. NC State is part of the ACC conference and has a record of 4-2. Denver is in the Big 12 and they have a record of 2-2. Denver is part of the Big 12 and this meet will count as a conference matchup.   Â
Storylines:Â
Freshman Haylee Hardin has won Big 12 Newcomer of the Week three times in a row. She owns four 9.9-plus scores this season and has six event titles. Â
The Cyclones are ranked 27th on vault.Â
Josie Bergstrom-Te Slaa continues to be a leader for the Cyclones. She earned a 9.9 on beam and 9.8 on vault at the Arizona meet. Â
Bergstrom-Te Slaa also competes All-Around for Iowa State which is a testament to her hard work. Â

Iowa State returned 10 gymnasts from last year's squad that made the largest improvement in the country.Â
ISU has added four freshmen and one transfer for a team of 15.Â
Noelle Adams and Josie Bergstrom-Te Slaa were both named to the Big 12 Preseason Gymnastics team. Â
Iowa State's 10 victories last season were tied for the most since it won 20 in 2018.Â
Sophomore Noelle Adams claimed 14 event titles last year in her freshman campaign. Those 14 titles were the third-most in program history by a first-year gymnast.Â
As a team, ISU claimed 17 event titles last season.Â
2025 will mark the first year that Iowa State competes in a conference schedule, as the additions of Arizona, Arizona State and Utah put the conference at seven teams.Â

The Wolfpack had 11 gymnasts named to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America team.
