AMES, Iowa -Â No. 4 Iowa State closes out its dual slate hosting No. 14 Missouri on Sunday afternoon for Senior Day. The Cyclones and Tigers close the regular season against each other for the fifth-straight year. Eight Cyclones will be recognized for their contributions to the program following the dual.

Iowa State has won two in a row and three of the last four duals against Missouri. Going back further, however, the Tigers have taken seven of the last 10. The Cyclones host Missouri for just the second time in five meetings. Prior to Sunday, ISU had traveled to Columbia, Mo. for three of the last four matchups. This will mark the eighth-consecutive meeting between the Cyclones and Tigers as ranked foes.
No. 12 ISU won a thriller over No. 25 Missouri last season in Columbia, 21-18. The Cyclones took six of 10 bouts, including the first four of the dual, from the Tigers. Based on probable lineups, the only rematch from that dual fans could see Sunday is at 149 pounds between No. 10 Jacob Frost and No. 21 Josh Edmond. Frost and Edmond met twice last season. Both matches were high scoring affairs with Frost coming out ahead in both by scores of 9-8 and 15-8. In the dual, Frost secured a takedown with 0:47 remaining to lock up the win.
SENIOR DAY
Fans are encouraged to remain in their seats following the dual as eight Cyclone seniors will be recognized following the action - Yonger Bastida, Rocky Elam, Vinny Zerban, Stevo Poulin, Isaac Dean, Manny Rojas, Rowan Udell and Xavier Bruening.
SPECIAL GUESTS
New Cyclone head football coach Jimmy Rogers will lead the team out of the tunnel and will sound the siren before the match.
Incoming Iowa State University President David Cook will also be in attendance at Sunday's dual and will be recognized at the first commercial break.
DUAL SOCIALS
Johnny's MatCYd Club will open 90 minutes prior to the dual, with head wrestling coach Kevin Dresser's pre-match chalk talk taking place approximately 30 minutes prior to the first match. As usual, members must scan their pass to receive the wristband required for entry into Johnny's.
Immediately following the event, all Cyclone fans are invited to attend a social in the auditorium on the first floor of Scheman (the middle floor). Cash bar and dry snacks will be available.

TEAM STORYLINES
- No. 4 Iowa State earned a pair of top-20 dual victories last weekend over No. 18 West Virginia and No. 15 UNI. The Cyclones went a combined 16-4 across both duals and tallied eight-bonus-point victories.
- The ISU-MIZ dual is set to feature nine ranked matches, including four top-15 bouts.
- All 10 Cyclone starters are ranked in the top-15 at their respective weight classes. Iowa State is ranked No. 4 in the team tournament rankings by both FloWrestling and InterMat.
INDIVIDUAL STORYLINES
- Rocky Elam, now 13-0 on the season with seven wins by bonus-point margin, is set to face off with his former team on Sunday. Elam, a Kansas City, Missouri native, spent five years with the Mizzou wrestling program where he was a four-time All-American and two-time conference champion.
- Yonger Bastida is the No. 1 ranked heavyweight in the country by all major pollsters. Bastida leads the team with 95 takedowns on the season while surrendering only two. He is 20-0 and leads the nation with 12 tech falls.
- It was a bumpy start to the season for 125-pounder Stevo Poulin, who started with a 4-5 record through his first nine matches wrestling perhaps the most difficult first semester schedule of any Cyclone. He saw five top-15 opponents in those first nine matches. Since the rocky start, Poulin has won seven of his last eight and is now 11-6 on the season. Poulin is coming off a weekend where he picked up two ranked wins over West Virginia's No. 8 Jett Strickenberger and UNI's No. 31 Trevor Anderson. Poulin was previously 0-4 in his career against Strickenberger.
- Cyclone 174-pounder No. 12 MJ Gaitan is set to face off against Mizzou's No. 9 Cam Steed on Sunday. It will be his fifth-consecutive match against a top-15 opponent.
- Evan Frost has missed ISU's last four duals due to illness but is expected back in the lineup this weekend. He is 13-1 with seven bonus-point wins this season (1 WBF, 3 TF, 3 MD) and owns a 3-1 mark against ranked opponents.
