COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Six Cyclones competed at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships from March 9–11 in College Station, Texas.
Iowa State had six divers compete in the 1-meter event, five in the 3-meter and two in the platform competition.
On the 1-meter boards, Abby Tollefson led the Cyclones with a score of 245.10 to finish 32nd. Maggie Bendell followed closely behind in 33rd with a 243.65, while Iona Moffat placed 37th with a 239.00. Kate Mitchell finished 38th with a score of 238.10, followed by Ally Blumenfeld in 49th (223.80) and Jade Hazes in 50th (223.75).
Bendell went on to lead Iowa State in 3-meter competition, finishing 31st with a score of 260.50. Mitchell placed 33rd with a 258.25, while Moffat recorded a 40th-place finish with a score of 251.20. Blumenfeld placed 42nd (248.75) and Hazes finished 48th with a score of 229.10.
In platform competition, Mitchell posted the highest finish for Iowa State, placing 19th with a score of 220.30. Blumenfeld followed with a 26th-place finish and a score of 205.65 to close out the season.
